Happy Mothers to all!
When I moved to the Vail Valley of Colorado, I hit the ground running to get my business going! I met with every one I could and attended anything that would help me introduce myself to those in the industry. After 6 years of hard work it has definitely paid off.
I never thought I would have the privilege to become a mother myself. Things where looking pretty bleak in that department so I just kept plugging away at my business. I knew how hard I had worked on it and treated like my baby for sure.
I will never forget the shock of the day when I found out that we would be having a baby!
I will admit it might have been more like straight fear!
Now that I am 8 months into motherhood, I couldn’t imagine having it any other way. It has been a very challenging and interesting adventure running a business with my little munchkin along side of me. Ideally she would be in day care but things haven’t worked out just yet for that.
I spend so many days, completely stressed out and anxious about getting my work completed and being a good mother. I am very blessed to have the opportunity to spend this time with Tanner. So many mothers don’t get but a few hours a day with their children, so I am working to embrace this beautiful adventure that I am on.
It has been so strange to think any thing could come along in life that has placed my sweet puppy dog and my one true passion of photography in second position! Of course my husband stands alone in that because I love him dearly and couldn’t imagine my life with out him.
With all that being said, I just wanted to point this out to those I have worked with over the past 8 months and those I will be honored to work with in the future. I still have a love and passion for being a professional photographer and always will. I am going to continue to plug away at running my business and being the best I can for my clients, it just might be with a little one in tow.
Thank you to those who have supported my business over the past 6 years and been incredible clients to work with
I was out photographing another family, when this sweet family hiked past us and realized…
Ever so often I get to switch up from Family portraits, Real Estate and weddings…
