During booking season for weddings, it is always nice to get out from behind my computer and emails and enjoy the beautiful Vail Valley I live in. I had the pleasure of spending the day on Vail Mountain with Christine Ashburn from The Soiree Studio, a local wedding and event coordinator. We had a great time chatting about weddings while on the lift and getting a few runs in. We also had the opportunity to check out the new venue at the top of the new gondola in Vail Village. ‘The 10th’ is a gorgeous venue and I think will be a prime location for weddings here in the Vail Valley. I am excited about how amazing the wedding photography will be at this venue. Katy, Mark and 20 of their friends and family came all the way from London to be married in the Vail Valley. It was a a cold snowy day but a beautiful intimate event. I think every one had a wonderful time and I am honored that they picked me to capture their memories.

December turned out to be one of my busiest wedding months for 2012. This wedding was a really cool wedding for me, since the groom and his family are from my home town, Conway, AR. I go as far back as birth with them. It was neat to see Spencer all grown up and such a honor to have gotten the chance to meet his beautiful bride, Leslie.
