My daughter loves to tell me when it is snowing out and she doesn’t want to put on a coat, that she is a ‘Winter Fairy’.  Now I truly believe that Colorado kiddos are definitely different and have a strong threshold hold of what is really cold.  This beautiful mother and daughter definitely embodied  the true meaning of  ‘Winter Fairies’ here in Vail, Colorado.  I had fun working with Katie and Phoenix just before Christmas on a gorgeous snowy day.

 

I am not even sure how long I have been photographing this family but they are so great.  I have watched these beautiful kids grow up so fast.  I was successful with only being 1o days out from major knee surgery and they where so understanding with my situation.  Huge Thank you to my friends Kelly & Mark who joined me and where total rock stars as my photographer assistants!!  I look forward to seeing the McCord Family in the future.  Guessing we have senior portraits coming sooner then we think.
